// General

> What is Void?

Void is a free voice and community app built in Turkey, a modern Discord alternative that runs on Windows, macOS and the browser.

> Discord will not open in my country, what can I use?

Void runs without access issues as a direct alternative: download, sign in with email or Google, and call your group in.

> Is Void free?

Yes. Core features are free, and voice and messaging always stay free.

> What makes Void different?

Void is built in Turkey, offers Turkish support, and includes tools you will not find elsewhere like a collaborative drawing board, soundboard and music bot in voice channels.

> What does “built in Turkey” mean?

Void is made by a local team; the interface and support are in Turkish and English, with a KVKK-aware approach to data.

> Which platforms does Void support?

Windows, macOS, Linux and the browser now; iOS and Android apps are coming soon.

// Download & install

> How do I download Void?

On the download page pick the build for your system: the Windows app or the Mac app. We auto-detect your system.

> Windows shows an “unknown publisher” warning, what do I do?

Click “More info” → “Run anyway”. The installer is signed.

> macOS says it “cannot be opened”?

It is Apple-approved so this normally will not appear; if it does, right-click → Open.

> Is it safe to download?

The Mac build is signed and Apple-approved; the Windows installer is signed too. No ads or bundled software.

> Do I update manually?

No. Updates arrive automatically and signed, in the background.

// Voice & video

> How is the voice quality?

Low-latency, crystal-clear group voice with special AI noise suppression. Keyboards, fans and street noise disappear; only you come through.

> Does screen sharing include system audio?

Yes. You can share your screen with system audio, and turn on your camera too.

> What if my connection drops?

Void reconnects automatically on brief drops; on network changes your audio recovers where it left off.

> Is there push-to-talk?

Yes. Push-to-talk, automatic voice detection, per-user volume and a device picker are all available.

// Account & security

> Do I need an account, how do I sign in?

Yes. You can sign in with email or Google; email verification is required.

> Is there two-factor authentication (2FA)?

Yes. You can enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in Settings.

> Where is my data stored?

Void is hosted on servers in Europe and follows a KVKK-aware approach to data.

> Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.

> I forgot my password?

You can set a new password via password reset on the sign-in screen.

// Groups & community

> How do I create a group (server)?

Create a group in the app in a few clicks and add text and voice channels.

> How do I invite people?

Create expiring invite links; people join in one tap with a void:// deep link.

> Are there roles and permissions?

Yes. Manage access to channels and actions with owner, admin and member roles.

> How do I moderate my community?

With admin bans/mutes, user reporting and an audit log that tracks every action.

// Creative tools

> What is the drawing board?

A shared canvas where you draw together in real time inside a voice channel.

> How does the soundboard work?

Play short sound effects in voice; each listener controls their own volume.

> Is there a music bot?

Yes. Queue music from YouTube and listen together in the group.

// Pricing

> Will Void become paid?

Core features, voice and messaging will always stay free. Optional supporter tiers (cosmetics and higher screen-share quality) are coming soon.

> How will payment work?

Details will be announced soon. For now everything is free.
