   • Improved Adding friends is much easier: your own username now shows on the add screen so you can copy and share it, and a request still goes through even if you type a leading @.
   • Improved Add friend is easier to find: it now sits in the tab row and is one click away from empty lists.

   • Fixed Opening a channel's settings no longer traps you: the close button, Escape and the section menu all work again.
   • Improved A few more voice rough edges are smoothed: a failed camera flip no longer freezes your camera, a screen-share error no longer leaves the sharing indicator stuck, and moderation actions are cleaner.

   • Improved Voice chat is steadier now: a brief network blip no longer drops you from the call, mute and unmute stay correct after a hiccup, and your mic is not left open in the background when you are not talking.
   • New You can build bots for Void now: from posting a message to a single link from any script to no-code automations that need no programming. Start at thevoidhub.com/bots.
   • New One-to-one calls moved inside the conversation, so you can keep typing while you talk. You can also add emoji from the message box now.
   • New Everyone can invite friends now: the invite button atop the channel list copies a link in one tap, and pasting a full invite link into the join field just works.
   • Improved What happened while the app was closed no longer vanishes: unread and mention badges show the moment you open Void, and clicking one lands you in the right channel.
   • Fixed When something goes wrong you now see a real error with a Retry button instead of a blank or misleading empty screen, across messages, friends, servers, and a dozen more views.
   • Improved Everything a finger could not reach on the phone is now reachable: long-press someone in a voice room for volume and moderation, conversations grew a back button, and overflowing popovers fit the screen.
   • Improved The app finally speaks one language everywhere: message tools, the schedule and forward dialogs, call screens, and even dates follow your app language.
   • Fixed Void no longer keeps your machine busy while idle: background animation stops completely, the unused audio device is handed back, and timers that span with nothing to do are switched off.
   • Improved Release notes work again. This window had gone quiet for a few versions; you can read what you missed under What's New in the "?" menu.

   • Fixed Void no longer keeps your machine busy while idle. It hands the audio device back when nothing is playing, and timers with nothing to do now stop. On Windows this was what kept the CPU pinned at its top speed.

   • Fixed Far lighter when left in the background. Animations stop completely when the window is not focused, and run at a steady low rate rather than chasing the display refresh when it is.
